«Schtroumpf vert et vert Schtroumpf» is the humor comic by Peyo and Yvan Delporte, published by Dupuis in hardcover (48 pages, in French).
The album includes the title story and the gags from «Jeux Olympschtroumpfs». In the main adventure, a grammatical difference divides the Smurfs: those from the North and those from the South place the word «schtroumpf» in a different position in the sentence, and the dispute escalates until it threatens to split the village in two, with Papa Smurf unable to restore peace.
Volume 9 of the series Les Schtroumpfs (The Smurfs). The main story in this volume was originally published in 1973, and this edition dates from 1986.
Aimed at young readers and fans of the classic Smurfs series.
Pierre Culliford was a Belgian comics writer and artist who worked under the pseudonym Peyo. His best-known works are the comic book series The Smurfs and Johan and Peewit, in the latter of which the Smurfs made their first appearance.
