«Sedienta de eucaristía» is the spirituality book by Teresa María de Jesús Ortega Pardo, published by EDIBESA in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
The work evokes the life of the Dominican Teresa María de Jesús Ortega (1917-1972), who felt an insatiable thirst for God and the Eucharist. As a young woman she was a university apostle and propagandist, and later embraced the contemplative life. From the monastery of Madre de Dios de Olmedo she promoted foundations on several continents, and her testimony and writings remain present in her communities.
The work is part of the collection «Palabra, vida, oración» (no. 1); this is its second edition, published in 1993.
For readers interested in Catholic spirituality and Eucharistic devotion, and in biographies of contemplative nuns.
