«Sexutopías» is the lesbian fiction novel by Sofía Ruiz, published by Egales in paperback (178 pages, in Spanish).
Sofía, called Sonia, is a Spanish woman with an American and conventional life —husband, children, career— who confesses her fascination with another woman. The work imagines sexutopias: utopian projects of pleasure that, though seemingly unrealizable, fit within fiction, where sex creates neither guilt nor ties and desires can be fulfilled.
It is part of the Salir del armario collection, number 102; first edition published on April 15, 2006.
It is aimed at readers of lesbian fiction and contemporary fiction interested in stories about desire and sexual freedom.
