«Shola y Angeliño» is the children's novel by Bernardo Atxaga, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
In this story, Shola leaves the city with Mr. Grogó and discovers the countryside. There she deals with Angeliño, a stubborn dog determined to catch an elusive mouse. The relationship between the urban dog and the village animals reflects the difference between two ways of life and leads to a lesson about collaborating to solve problems.
Third title in the Shola series, with illustrations by Mikel Valverde Tejedor, in the El Barco de Vapor Azul collection (no. 136).
Aimed at child readers aged 7 to 9 who enjoy stories about animals, humor and adventure.
Bernardo Atxaga, pseudonym of Joseba Irazu Garmendia, is a Spanish Basque writer and self-translator.
