«Si yo fuera... un esquimal» is an illustrated children's book by Emanuela Bussolati, published by Edaf in paperback (12 pages, in Spanish).
The book proposes a fantasy game: the child imagines himself as an Eskimo, in warm clothing, playing in the snow and contemplating a landscape of icebergs and polar animals. The cover scene, with a child digging to pull out a fish, sums up the idea of the «Tito y Claudia» collection: learning about the world while playing at being someone else.
It belongs to the «Los libros de Tito y Claudia» collection, recommended for children aged 2 to 3. The edition is from 2003.
Recommended for children aged 2 to 3, it is a starting point for talking about other ways of life and for imagining everyday situations in a snowy environment.
