«Simba, el lleó» is an illustrated children's story by Bernat Cussó Grau, published by Edicions del Pirata in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
Simba is a mischievous lion cub who often sneaks away from his pride to explore the savannah and watch other animals. He loves zebras, long-necked giraffes, and rowdy monkeys, until one day he discovers something he has never seen and feels curious to know what it is. A simple and fun story about exploration and discovery, aimed at early readers.
It is volume 5 of the Plou i Fa Sol collection, a series of nine progressive stories for learning to read. The text is presented twice: at the top in cursive script and at the bottom in print letters.
Recommended for children aged 4 and up who are starting to read in Catalan.
