«Single & Single» is the spy novel by John Le Carré, published by Plaza & Janés in hardcover (346 pages, in Spanish).
A lawyer at the firm Single & Single is executed in Turkey; a children's entertainer must justify a million-dollar income; a Russian freighter is intercepted and a banker disappears. A customs officer pieces these together in a plot of international corruption, money laundering and the Russian mafia that stretches from Devon to the Caucasus.
Translation by Carlos Milla Soler; hardcover edition with dust jacket published in Barcelona in 1999.
For readers of spy and suspense novels, particularly those who enjoy plots of international corruption and the style of John Le Carré.

David John Moore Cornwell, known by his pen name John le Carré, was an English author. Many of his espionage novels have been adapted for film or television. He has been described as a "sophisticated, morally ambiguous writer", and is considered one of the greatest novelists of the postwar era. During the 1950s and 1960s, he worked for both the Security Service (MI5) and the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6). Near the end of his life, le Carré became an Irish citizen.
