«Sir Gadabout» is Martyn Beardsley's humorous children's novel, published by Editorial Bambú in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
Sir Gadabout, known as the worst knight in the world, sets out to rescue the fair Guinevere when she disappears and finds himself caught up in a succession of absurd misadventures. The story combines nonsensical humor with details that adults can also enjoy, in the vein of Roald Dahl's tales.
The book was published in 2010, belongs to the Young Readers collection and features illustrations by Tony Ross and a translation by Pere Martí Casado.
Recommended for readers aged 9 and up, especially those looking for zany humor and fast-paced stories.
