«Skyscrapers» is the architecture book by Ariadna Álvarez Garreta, published by Atrium Arto Editorial in paperback (576 pages, in English).
Eighty representative skyscrapers from the 1990s, arranged alphabetically, show how to make their large scale compatible with the traditional city, especially in Asia. Each entry includes a short text, plans and photographs; alongside iconic 20th-century towers, projects with completion scheduled for the 21st century are added.
Multilingual edition published in 2004; the introductory texts are in English, Italian and Dutch.
Intended for architects, architecture students and the general public interested in skyscraper urbanism.
