«Sobras de pan» is the poetry collection by Reinaldo Jiménez, published by Menoscuarto Ediciones in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
«Sobras de pan» is a poetry collection of clean expression and reflective tone, far from empty rhetoric. Reinaldo Jiménez turns his gaze toward loved ones and nature to seek in them the essential, purification, and the meaning of existence in the gratuitous beauty of the everyday.
«Sobras de pan» won the 5th International Jorge Manrique Poetry Prize in 2021 and is number 29 in the Cálamo Poesía collection.
«Sobras de pan» is aimed at readers of contemporary Spanish poetry seeking brief, sober, and introspective lyric.
