«Sobre raíles» is a collection of short stories by twenty-four authors, published by Imagine Ediciones in paperback (282 pages, in Spanish).
Between April and May 2003, twenty-four writers traveled on the tourist train El Transcantábrico de FEVE, from Ferrol to León. Each wrote a story with their impressions of the journey, and the whole forms a plural vision of the landscape and culture of northern Spain, between travel literature and collective chronicle.
This is the first edition, from 2003. The journey was part of a cultural project by FEVE that included recordings for television and radio and meetings with the press.
For readers of short fiction with an interest in travel literature.

María Laura Espido Freire is a writer born in Bilbao, Spain on 16 July 1974. She is a recipient of the Premio Planeta de Novela.
