"Sostenes" is a play by José Aurelio Martín, with a prologue by Isabel Ordaz. The play features five women in drama, in addition to another absent woman, exploring their conversations, confessions, lies, sincerities, and wounds. These women cling to their bras, because if they took them off, the families, relationships, and situations they support would collapse. The play is a tribute to a generation of women who have sustained and continue to sustain.
