«¿Suave como la seda?» is the romantic-erotic novel by Noelia Amarillo, third installment of the «Amigos del barrio» series, published by Terciopelo in paperback (384 pages, in Spanish).
The story turns the fairy tale on its head: he is not a Prince Charming but a grumpy cobbler; she is not a delicate princess but a seller of erotic toys who is good at fighting. Between shoes, scrap metal and jiu-jitsu classes at a neighborhood gym, they both discover that love can arise where least expected.
Third installment of the «Amigos del barrio» series. The back cover mentions nominations and Rosa Román Tica's awards for the author's previous works: breakthrough author and best erotic romance in 2010 and best Spanish author in 2011.
For readers of contemporary romance with erotic undertones looking for an unconventional protagonist and down-to-earth humor, far from traditional fantasy.
