«Success to the Brave» is Alexander Kent's naval adventure novel, published by Arrow in paperback (288 pages, in English).
In 1802, Richard Bolitho is summoned to the Admiralty and given an ungrateful mission: not even promotion to vice-admiral compensates for the call of duty while his wife awaits their first child. With the Peace of Amiens still tense, he sails in the Achates to Boston and the Caribbean to hand San Felipe over to the French, where he discovers that diplomacy is not enough.
It belongs to the Richard Bolitho series and is set in 1802, during the era of the Napoleonic Wars. The original edition was published in 1983.
For readers of historical naval fiction, particularly followers of Patrick O'Brian and C. S. Forester.
Kent Alexander Ekeroth is a Swedish politician and economist, who represented the Sweden Democrats in the Riksdag from 2010 to 2018.
