In 'Imperial Suites', Bret Easton Ellis revisits the characters from his first novel, 'Less Than Zero', twenty-five years later. Clay, now a successful screenwriter, returns to Los Angeles for the casting of his new movie. There, he reunites with old acquaintances and becomes involved in a plot of anonymous messages, persecutions, and rumors of murder. With his characteristic style, Ellis explores decadence and self-destruction in the world of Hollywood.
Bret Easton Ellis is an American author and screenwriter. Ellis was one of the Literary Brat Pack and is a self-proclaimed satirist whose trademark technique as a writer is the expression of extreme acts and opinions in an affectless style. His novels often share recurring characters.
