«Teo en el día del libro» is the children's picture book by Violeta Denou, published by Timun Mas Infantil in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
Teo celebrates Book Day by taking part in a poetry contest: he recites his composition before a jury and wins a prize. He also becomes a member of a public library and takes part in activities such as a mural. The day is rounded off by strolling past the street book stalls, where he buys a copy and gets the author to sign it.
It belongs to the «Teo descubre el mundo» collection, aimed at children aged 2 to 7, focused on learning about traditions. It includes a teaching guide in the final pages.
Suitable for early readers and for sharing a love of reading and traditions such as Sant Jordi with family or in the classroom.
