«Testigos de esperanza» is a book of spiritual meditations by Cardinal F. X. Nguyen Van Thuan, published by Ciudad Nueva in paperback (256 pages, in Spanish).
The book gathers the spiritual exercises preached by Cardinal Nguyen Van Thuan at the Vatican before John Paul II in March 2000. The 22 meditations on hope unite the experience of thirteen years in prison with Scripture and the Church Fathers, and portray a joyful Church for the new millennium.
The exercises took place in the Redemptoris Mater chapel from March 12 to 18, 2000; the volume belongs to the Meditations series by Ciudad Nueva and the 2011 edition is the 12th.
Recommended for readers of Catholic spirituality interested in Christian witness, prayer and the figure of John Paul II.
