«Textos cartoixans primitius» is a collection of spiritual texts by an unstated author, published by Pòrtic in 1995 in paperback (182 pages, in Catalan).
«Textos cartoixans primitius» gathers writings by the priors of the Grande Chartreuse, Bruno (1030-1101), Guigo I (1083-1137) and Guigo II (d. 1192), key figures in the founding and consolidation of the order: letters of ardent tone on goodness, peace and love of God, and personal meditations noted as a diary or florilegium for life review and pastoral guidance.
First Catalan translation of these texts, published to commemorate the eighth centenary of the Charterhouse of Escaladei. Belongs to the Clàssics Crist collection.
Will interest readers of Christian spirituality, history of the Carthusian order and medieval religious texts in Catalan.
