«The Bear Who Never Slept» is a children's picture book by an unknown author, published by Hinkler Books in hardcover (18 pages, in English).
Sammy Bear is happy when his grandmother comes to look after him. Each night she reads him a different story, but as soon as she leaves, the little bear starts his adventures: sometimes he fights dinosaurs and other times he flies in a spaceship. What he never does is sleep, and his grandmother, exhausted by the commotion, eventually has an idea.
The book was published in 2010 and the cover credits the illustrations to Lorna Hussey. It belongs to Hinkler Books' children's catalogue.
Aimed at young children, it serves as a bedtime story with a simple plot featuring a bear and his grandmother.
