Synopsis of The Black Mountain

En mayo de 1706, Ana, una joven española, vive en un pequeño pueblo en la costa noroeste de Tenerife con su madre y sus dos hermanos menores. El pueblo se encuentra a la sombra de un poderoso volcán, del que la leyenda dice que tiene al diablo viviendo dentro. Sin embargo, no ha habido ninguna erupción en miles de años y nadie cree que sea una amenaza. Un día, Ana se da cuenta de que el aire se siente extraño y pesado, que los pájaros han dejado de cantar. Mientras cuida el viñedo familiar, un repentino y extraño temblor en la tierra la asusta. Muy pronto será una carrera contra el tiempo para que Ana ayude a persuadir al pueblo de que están en peligro y deben huir antes de que el volcán entre en erupción y destruya su mundo. ¿La escucharán? Y la propia Ana se enfrenta a otro peligro...
