«The Huge Bag of Worries» is the children's picture book by Virginia Ironside, published by Hachette Children's in hardcover (32 pages, in English).
Jenny drags a big blue bag full of worries that follow her everywhere: to school, at home, while watching TV and even to the bathroom. Tired of living with them, she looks for someone to help her get rid of that weight. A funny and comforting story about childhood anxiety that invites children to express their fears.
The illustrations are by Frank Rodgers. The work was originally published in 1996; the present edition came out in 2011.
Recommended for children who are beginning to manage their emotions and for families or educators looking for a starting point to talk about childhood anxiety.
