«The Pheasants' Revolt: More Tales of the Country» is Brian Viner's memoir, published by Simon & Schuster in paperback (320 pages).
Brian Viner and his family, now settled at Docklow Manor (Herefordshire), turn the adjoining cottages into vacation rentals. With no hospitality experience, the Viners string together disasters and guests worthy of «Fawlty Towers», with humor and anecdotes of rural life.
English-language edition published in 2008, sequel to «Tales of the Country», the first volume of Brian Viner's rural chronicles.
For those who enjoy memoirs and British humor about rural life and moving to the countryside.
