«This Is Our House» is a children's picture book by Michael Rosen, published by Walker Books in 2009, in paperback and in English.
George builds a cardboard house and proclaims that it is only his: girls, twins and people with glasses cannot enter. When he returns, he finds other children inside who reject those with red hair, just as George does. A book about play, exclusion and the possibility of learning to share.
The illustrations are by Bob Graham. The work was originally published in 1996; this Walker Books edition is from June 2009.
For early readers and reading aloud; it prompts discussion about exclusion and learning to share.
