«Tiago e o triciclo azul» is the illustrated children's story by Cressida Cowell, published by Livros Horizonte in hardcover, with 28 pages, in Portuguese.
Tiago is very shy and never leaves his mother's leg, which is complicated because she does extreme sports. With humor and tenderness, the story shows how the boy gains his self-confidence and overcomes his fears.
Published in 2001, it is recommended by the Plano Nacional de Leitura for preschool education and reading aloud.
Aimed at the youngest, it lends itself to shared reading at home or in the classroom and to talking about childhood shyness.
Cressida Cowell is a British author. She is best known for the book series How to Train Your Dragon, which has subsequently become a media franchise as adapted by DreamWorks Animation. As of 2015, the series has sold more than seven million copies around the world.
