«Tino, el clandestino» is the children's story by Meri Torras, published by La Galera, SAU, in paperback (40 pages, in Spanish).
Tino is a character who isn't sure what he is: he looks a bit like a crab, a bit like a scorpion, a bit like a chameleon, and a bit like an oyster. On a journey full of encounters, some very special companions help him discover his nature and accept himself.
Published in 2004, it is part of the Grumetes collection (yellow series, no. 71), with illustrations by Luci Gutiérrez. The Spanish edition comes from Catalan and is recommended for ages 7 and up.
Aimed at children who are beginning to read independently and enjoy adventure stories with an animal character searching for his identity.
