«Tornar és lluny» is the poetry collection by Francesc Garriga Barata, published by Edicions Proa in 2013 (125 pages, in Catalan).
With a pared-down, ironic voice, Francesc Garriga Barata reflects in these poems on innocence, deception, the passage of time and death. Written in lowercase and at the edge of silence, the verses strive for essentiality and high artistic and moral standards.
The poetry collection won the Premi Carles Riba 2012 and is part of the Els Llibres de l'Óssa Menor collection from Edicions Proa.
For readers of poetry in Catalan seeking a concise and profound voice on time and death.
