«Tot het voorbij is» is the suspense novel by Nicci French, published by Anthos in 2007 in paperback (366 pages, in Dutch).
Astrid Bell is a young bicycle messenger in London who shares a house with six friends. When two women are found murdered and she is the only link between the two cases, Astrid must find out whether she is in danger or whether the threat lies within her own group. The narrative shifts perspective and retells the events from another point of view, which heightens the tension until the denouement.
Originally published in English as «Until It's Over» and translated into Dutch by Irving Pardoen. It was shortlisted for the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year in 2010.
Nicci French is the pseudonym of English husband-and-wife team Nicci Gerrard and Sean French, who write psychological thrillers together.
