Tras la celosía es una novela del escritor egipcio Naguib Mahfuz, ganador del Premio Nobel de Literatura en 1988. La historia sigue a una familia que se traslada a un antiguo barrio de la ciudad huyendo de la guerra. Ahmad, el hijo mayor, se enamora de Nawal, una joven mucho más joven que él, pero no se atreve a pedirle matrimonio.
