«Tras los pasos de un zapato» is the children's novel by Javier Fonseca, published by Algar Editorial in paperback (112 pages, in Spanish).
Don Cruz, a very absent-minded librarian, has lost a shoe. Cleo, a little mouse who boasts of being the nephew of none other than Ratón Holmes, joins him to solve it. Amid clues and funny situations, the day becomes a tribute to Sherlock Holmes mystery novels.
It was first published in 2012; it belongs to the Calcetín collection, number 73, and includes drawings by Laura Chicote.
Aimed at young readers who are starting out in mystery and humor stories.
