«Tratado sobre el pedo» is a humorous essay by an anonymous author, published by Arias Montano Editores in hardcover (64 pages, in Spanish).
This scatological humor work analyzes the fart with apparent philosophical, scientific, and sociological rigor: its definition, genres and species, differences, morality, the divergence between farts and burps, and even a «musical question». The tone parodies erudition and maintains a satire that has made this book a classic of scatological discourse.
This edition is the 6th and includes a translation by Gustavo de Hakeldama.
May appeal to readers who enjoy erudite satire and classic scatological humor.
