«Tres en raia» is the contemporary fiction novel by Xosé Manuel Martínez Oca, published by Baía Edicións in paperback (266 pages, in Galician).
Three friends from Ourense use «tres en raia» as a metaphor for their friendship. Decades later, Guillerme's illness brings Antonio and Gabriel together and recalls their youth: shared readings and a city, Ourense, that becomes a character. María's death in Compostela, the trio's point of union, precipitates the separation and leaves unresolved guilt.
It is volume 43 of the Baía Narrativa collection; first edition published on January 27, 2022.
For adult readers interested in contemporary Galician narrative and in stories of friendship and memory.
