«Tres pisadas de hombre» is the novel by Antonio Prieto published by Planeta in paperback (308 pages, in Spanish).
The smuggling of emeralds is the trigger for a plot starring Gad, Juan and Luigi, three men of strong character. The action takes place between a South American city and the Amazon jungle, with scenes of great dramatic force and moments of poetic density that sustain interest until the denouement.
The paperback edition dates from 1974. The work won the Planeta Prize in 1955 and was included in Planeta's Collection of Spanish and Hispano-American Authors.
For readers of twentieth-century Spanish fiction and adventures set in Latin America.
