«Trífero» is a novel by Spanish writer Ray Loriga, published by Ediciones Destino in paperback (223 pages, in Spanish).
The novel presents Trífero, a charismatic and unclassifiable character whose roots critics have sought in the picaresque tradition and in some of Nabokov's tricksters. His adventures and misadventures lead him from Scandinavia to New York, in a reflection on identity, imposture, and the search for meaning in a chaotic world.
Trífero was published in 2002 in the Destinolibro collection, number 456, by Ediciones Destino.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in Spanish narrative and characters with picaresque roots.
Jorge Loriga Torrenova, better known as Ray Loriga, is a Spanish author, screenwriter, and director.
