«Tríptico Romano» is the poetry collection by John Paul II, published by the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together three poems composed by John Paul II in the summer of 2002, in which he contemplates God as the beginning and end of all creation. A mountain stream, the Sistine Chapel and the passage of Abraham and Isaac shape a reflection on the beginning and end of the pontificate.
The original title of the work is «Tryptyk Rzymski»; the Spanish edition was published in 2003 in Murcia.
Work for those interested in religious poetry and Catholic spirituality, as well as in the figure of John Paul II.

Pope John Paul II was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Vatican City from 16 October 1978 until his death in 2005. He was the first non-Italian pope since Adrian VI in the 16th century, as well as the third-longest-serving pope in history, after St. Peter and Pius IX.
