«Tristan et Iseut» is the adaptation of the medieval romance of Tristan and Iseult by Gaëlle Cabau, published in paperback by Flammarion in 2012, in French.
Tristan mistakenly drinks a love potion with Iseult while taking her to Cornwall, where she is to marry King Mark. The potion seals their fates between joy and suffering: Iseult marries without being able to forget Tristan, while the court condemns that impossible love.
The edition adapts Joseph Bédier's version for young readers and belongs to the Étonnants classiques collection (no. 385).
Suitable for young readers and students of French approaching medieval literature and the chivalric world with didactic support.
