«Tú me sondeas y me conoces» is a book of spiritual exercises by Carlo Maria Martini, published by Editorial Verbo Divino (152 pages, in Spanish).
The volume gathers spiritual exercises that Carlo Maria Martini, cardinal and biblical scholar, preached to young people during Lent. Based on the lectio divina of passages from the Old and New Testaments, the work addresses two essential questions: who am I and who are you, Lord. The author wants to restore to the Word of God all its force and energy, so that reading becomes a path of introspection and personal encounter with faith.
It belongs to the Surcos collection. Translated from Italian by Juan Luis Herrero del Pozo.
It is aimed at young people seeking to deepen their spiritual life during Lent.
Carlo Maria Martini was an Italian Jesuit and Biblical scholar. He served as Archbishop of Milan from 1980 to 2002 and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1983.
