«Txanogorritxu Bere Ipuina Kondatzen» is the children's version of Little Red Riding Hood written by Álvaro del Amo, published by Editorial Luis Vives in paperback.
Txanogorritxu, the girl in the red cape, tells her own version of the folk tale. The story brings back the walk through the countryside and the presence of the wolf, with a tone close to young readers. The hand-drawn illustrations show the girl and the wolf in a green landscape and help recreate the atmosphere of the traditional tale.
The book was published by Editorial Luis Vives (Edelvives) on February 2, 1990. The cover features the ala.delta logo.
Aimed at children, it brings younger readers a version of the traditional tale in Basque.
Álvaro del Amo is a Spanish dramatist, novelist, screenwriter, and music critic.
