«Un ambiente extraño» is the mystery and suspense novel by Patricia Cornwell, published by Zeta Bolsillo in hardcover (448 pages, in Spanish).
Dr. Kay Scarpetta travels to Dublin over murders committed ten years earlier with unsettling similarities to the case of the Butcher, which keeps Virginia on edge. Back in the United States, the discovery of a female torso in a landfill and macabre emails signed «muerteadoc» suggest both cases are connected.
This novel belongs to the Dr. Kay Scarpetta series, of which it is the eighth installment; the original work, Unnatural Exposure, appeared in 1997.
It will appeal to readers of thrillers, mystery and crime fiction, especially followers of Kay Scarpetta.
