«Un barquiño coma min» is the children's picture book by Thomas Docherty, published by Edicións Xerais in hardcover (40 pages, in Galician).
A little boat narrates its journey across the seven seas to reunite with its friends. Amid currents, whirlpools, hurricanes and sea monsters, it shows its courage and joy: it crosses storms, rides the waves and does somersaults until it reaches its destination.
Published in 2008, it belongs to the Sopa de Contos collection for early readers from Edicións Xerais. The Galician edition is translated by M. Dolores Torres París.
Recommended for children aged 5 to 6 who are beginning to read, within the early readers collection Sopa de Contos.
Thomas Docherty is a British Labour Party politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Dunfermline and West Fife from 2010 until 2015.
