«Un dia rodó» is the children's novel by Cathy Ribeiro, published by Estrella Polar in paperback (80 pages, in Catalan).
The narrator comes home after a bad day: he has failed math and has a black eye. But the family celebration is not for that: his mother is expecting a baby. Although nine months remain, the belly grows every day and with it his fears grow, because his grandfather insists that misfortunes never come alone.
It was published in 2009 in the Odissea 2 collection and includes illustrations by Frédéric Joos. Cathy Ribeiro won the Premi Cronos in 2008.
Aimed at children aged 8 to 10, within a level-reading collection designed to consolidate independent reading.
