«Un mal nombre» is the novel by Elena Ferrante that continues the Dos amigas saga, published by Lumen in hardcover (560 pages, in Spanish).
At sixteen, Lila marries a man she despises, while Lenù continues her studies. The wedding makes Lenù feel out of place, though the complicity between them persists. When the sixties arrive, Lila's notebooks reveal the truth about her marriage, the mafia, and the neofascist groups, with Naples always in the background.
Second installment of the Dos amigas saga, sequel to La amiga estupenda. Translation by Celia Filipetto Isicato.
For readers of literary fiction and for those who want to follow the Dos amigas saga.
