«Un món de mares fantàstiques» is the children's picture book by Marta Gómez Mata, published by Editorial Comanegra in hardcover (68 pages, in Catalan).
The Mother of Archimedes brings together the mothers of famous characters from stories and history —Robin Hood, Einstein, Cleopatra, Sherlock Holmes, Tom Sawyer, Marie Curie, Peter Pan...— to retell the story of their sons and daughters. The book interweaves these maternal voices and turns memory into a tribute to all mothers.
The work features text by Marta Gómez Mata and illustrations by Carla Nazareth; its first edition was published on March 7, 2013.
Recommended for children, especially those who enjoy classic tales and stories told from new perspectives.
