«Un monstruo viene a verme» is the young adult fantasy novel by Patrick Ness, published by Debolsillo in hardcover (224 pages, in Spanish).
Conor is a thirteen-year-old boy whose mother is ill. At 00:07, Conor receives a visit from an ancient monster, very different from the one in his nightmare. The monster does not come to frighten Conor, but to tell him stories and demand the truth from him. The novel is about accepting loss and the bonds that unite life.
Novel based on an original idea by Siobhan Dowd, with illustrations by Jim Kay and translation by Carlos Jiménez Arribas.
Suitable for readers aged 12 and over, and also for adults, due to its treatment of grief and loss with fantastical elements.
