«Un nen preciós» is a children's picture book by Martine Oborne and Ingrid Godon, published by Símbol Editors in hardcover and in Catalan.
The book shows the everyday life of a child —eating, sleeping, going for walks, going to the park— through lively and relatable illustrations. At the same time, it introduces the first numbers from one to ten so that the youngest can recognize them while observing familiar scenes.
The book was published in 2007 and belongs to the Simbolet collection. The original English title is One Beautiful Baby. The Catalan translation is by Núria Sales i Folch.
Aimed at boys and girls from 0 to 4 years old, it is suitable for a first approach to numbers and daily routines.
Ingrid Godon is a Flemish illustrator of children's literature.
