«Un nouvel ami pour Lisa» is a children's picture book by Rosemarie De Vos, published by Sorbier in paperback (28 pages, in French).
It tells of the friendship between Lisa and her cat Petit Chat, which is interrupted by the animal's death after a dog attack. With Chat Violet, Lisa buries her friend and adorns his grave with flowers, in a story that speaks sensitively about childhood grief and offers simple answers to children's questions about death.
This work is part of the «Mes premières histoires» collection and was originally published in 2001.
Suitable for children aged 3 to 5, especially useful for accompanying conversations about the loss of a pet.
