«Un Oscar pour Cubitus» is the humorous comic by Dupa, published by Lombard in paperback (48 pages, in French).
Cubitus, a white dog created by Dupa, stars in this humor album. On the cover he appears dressed as a chef, with knife and fork, next to a golden bone-shaped statuette alluding to the prize in the title; the strips combine that image with the series' zany humor.
It is the third volume of the Cubitus series, in its old edition.
A humor comic for a general and young audience, in the classic line of the Franco-Belgian album.
Luc Dupanloup, more famous under his pen name Dupa, was a Belgian comics artist best known as the creator of Cubitus which later was turned into an animated series called Wowser. He was born on 12 February 1945 in Montignies-sur-Sambre and died on 8 November 2000 in Ottignies.
