«Un regal d'aniversari» is the children's story by Erhard Dietl and Manfred Mai, published by Timun Mas in hardcover (32 pages, in Catalan).
Christian turns five and receives a soccer ball, the gift he so wanted. He wants to try it out right away, but the ball causes so many mishaps during the afternoon of games that no one would have imagined it. After the adventure, the celebration ends with milk and a piece of birthday cake.
The work belongs to the DIBUCONTES collection and corresponds to the second edition, published in 2003.
For early readers in Catalan: the pictures inserted in the sentences allow preschool children to follow the story without knowing how to read.
