At forty-four, recently married and promoted to commissioner in Holon, Avraham is tired of investigating domestic crimes that help no one. He dreams of more important missions, so when two cases arise simultaneously, he delegates the most mundane—a newborn found in a plastic bag near the hospital—to a colleague. His attention is caught by the disappearance of a tourist reported by a hotel manager. The man, holding a Swiss passport, also has an Israeli passport and other identities. When he is found drowned on the beach, the involvement of the Mossad begins to emerge. Everything leads Avraham to believe he finally has his 'big' case, but in reality, a terrible moral dilemma awaits him.
