«Una carrera a tres patas» is a children's story by Gill Pittar, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (32 pages, in Spanish).
In this story, Milly and Molly compete in a three-legged race: tied together with a ribbon, they must coordinate their steps to reach the finish line. Set in a rural environment, the story conveys the value of unity and shows that the two friends are stronger when they cooperate. The color illustrations complement a simple tale.
It belongs to the «Milly y Molly» series, with illustrations by Cris Morrell and translation by Liwayway Alonso Mendoza. Recommended reading age from 6 to 10 years.
Designed for children who are beginning to read on their own, it also serves to talk about values such as unity, friendship and solidarity.
