«Una de zombis» is the young adult zombie novel by Patricia Martín Pinillos, published by Estrella Polar in paperback (112 pages, in Catalan).
The narrative starts from the tropes of zombie cinema, where protagonists always escape at the last moment, to imagine a wave of the undead in Barcelona. There, things don't go as they do in the movies, and the characters must find other ways to survive.
Winner of the Premi Ciutat de Badalona de Narrativa Juvenil 2012 and the Premi Protagonista Jove 2014, this first novel by Patricia Martín Pinillos was published in the L'illa del temps collection.
Recommended for young readers aged 12 and up, especially those who enjoy zombie stories and recognizable urban settings.
